Santa Barbaran Ben Brewer established himself as one of the best ocean lifeguard competitors in the country.
Brewer, a Santa Barbara High alum, was the individual overall champion at the United States Lifesaving Association National Lifeguard Championships in South Padre Island, Texas, Aug 4-7.
