The board is traveling up the Southern California coastline with a goal of spreading a message: Care for your skin while outside at the beach.

Lifeguards and junior lifeguards from some 25 lifeguard agencies are passing along a 10-foot prone paddleboard up the coast for the “SoCal PaddleDown For Cancer Relay,” which traveled through San Clemente and Dana Point on Thursday, July 25, before heading north toward Laguna Beach and Crystal Cove.
